When asked WHY her fascination with
the wine industry,
DAISY spent years riding her horse though the now iconic vineyards of
Rutherford and Oakville when enjoying life on her family's ranch on
Highway 29 in Napa’s Rutherford AVA. This romanticized view of the wine
country, before the traffic, was her reality.
Married after finishing her studies at UC Davis, she and her husband Kerry
have worked together for 35 years, as partners and friends. Her
professional experience ranges from holding executive positions
throughout the non-profit world to building brands like Chalk Hill. In 1999,
Daisy and Kerry created Palmeri to showcase impressive small lot wines
from unique mountain vineyards.
Daisy has been featured in Who's Who in Business in the Sonoma County
Business Journal and as a Community Hero by the Healdsburg Tribune's
Reader's Poll. She is a founding vintner of A Women’s Palate and
continues to be passionate about what each new vintage brings.
